Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?

A: I have years of photography under my belt. Prior to launching my company, I spent years second shooting for brilliant photographers all over the country in order to learn from the best. I only shoot top of the line equipment (as well as my second shooter, who is a professional in his own right) and am comfortable in any and all lighting situations. 
On top of that, you get full access to me! I have a very hands on approach to each of my clients. I am your ultimate hype woman, who genuinely loves wedding photography which means, I live, sleep and breathe wedding photography, so even though I am "just" the photographer, I can help you with any questions you may have about planning your wedding or styling your wedding.  This is especially ideal for those who may not be familiar with New Orleans or who are overwhelmed with planning a destination wedding. 
The last thing that makes me unique (and I go into more detail on my website) is my love of film photography. What sets apart normal wedding photographers from the highest tier photographer is our love of film. Photographers who make the investment monetarily and in their time to learn film understand not just the elements of taking a picture but the knowledge of composition, use of light, setting up a scene, letting a scene breathe and so much more. Instead of just rapidly clicking away, we are creating custom pieces of art for you to enjoy for generations to come. 


Q: Will we get the print release to our photos after our wedding?

A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.


Q: How many photographers will be there at our wedding?

A: My partner, Will & I, will be the two exclusive photographers at the wedding. A third shooter can be included upon request/cost. 


Q: What does "multi day wedding coverage" cover? 

A: This is a classic option for destination weddings where there are a lot of people traveling in for the event! This covers welcome party, rehearsal dinner, wedding day and day after events that may be offered for guests. Also throughout these days any individual portrait sessions that are desired are included, bridal session, boudoir session, parent portrait sessions, generational portrait sessions, you name it. I offer this because it helps tell the story of the entire wedding celebration instead just the day of. 


Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?

A: I respect the privacy of each of my clients. I will ask each of them if it is okay to blog or post or submit their shoot to a publication and have them sign a waver. It does not bother me at all if they would prefer to keep their images private.  


Q: Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?

A: This is my favorite. I manually edit each and every one of your images in a way that will make you look your best, but no one will ever be able to tell you were photoshopped. During one of our first meetings, I ask "What are you self-conscious of?" I take that information and cater your posing and editing to that so you feel your most beautiful 


Q: Do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?

A: Depending on the city we are working in, yes I have a list of preferred vendors, but I love making connections and working with new people! If you need recommendations, I am here to help! Also I am able to formulate a list of questions for you to ask other vendors.  


Q: Your A La Carte section seems like a dream, but it is just not in my budget! What should I do? 

A: I include this section because of a past client who wanted to celebrate their wedding long before and long after their wedding day with photographs. She actually added a fund on her wedding registry website in order for friends and family to gift money towards a Bridal Session, Boudoir Session (though she reworded it), Rehearsal Dinner Coverage (mother of the groom) and gifting wedding albums. I have also had bridesmaids reach out about paying for a custom "bridesmaid" album and bachelorette party coverage. 


Q: Do I have to order prints through you?

A: You do not have to, but I highly recommend using professional print shops through me to print your photographs. This ensures the highest quality product. I offer after the wedding, a discount for going through me with my chosen vendors to help keep the price down. Wedding photographers have accounts with print shops that are exclusive to professionals in the industry we go through in order to ensure our photographs are represented correctly. 


Q: What equipment do you use?

A: Exclusively Canon mirrorless, red ring glass, 5d Mark 4s and Hasselblad vintage 500 cm cameras. My partner and I shoot dual cameras at all times giving the largest variety of art for your galleries and seamless transitions into various environments. 


Q: Do you photograph destination weddings?

A: Yes! I have gotten to the point this past year where I photograph more weddings across the country instead of in the south, but I have a soft spot for my home in Jackson, MS and New Orleans. Now that boarders are reopening I am including outside of the United States. For 2022, I will be shooting in Lake Como, Scotland, Mexico and all over the United States. 

Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?

A: A 30% nonrefundable deposit & signed contract is required in order to get your wedding on the calendar and hold the date. The next installment is at the half way point, and then the remaining balance is paid 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
